The SWR is a band that plays straight-ahead bluegrass with an edge. We prefer the original bluegrass style of the masters such as Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and the Stanley Brothers. We try to carry this style into the songs that we play regardless of whether they are the old classics, newer songs from current artists or a song from another genre that we've grassed up.
